KATHMANDU: The member of the House of Representatives took the oath of office and secrecy on Thursday.
Seniormost member of Hosue of Representative, Pashpati Shusmher JBR of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), administered the oath of secrecy to 274 members of the House of Representatives.
President Bidhya Devi Bhandari had sworn in Rana amid a ceremony organized at the Shital Niwas on Wednesday.
Altogether 275 lawmakers – 165 from the first past the post (FPTP) system and 110 from the proportional representation (PR) system – were in the November 20 polls.
