KATHMANDU: Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Vice Chairman Ashok Rai has said that the chance of the ruling coalition forming the next government has ended.
Rai was commenting after holding a meeting with top leaders of CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Center), Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) at UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli’s residence.
“Now there are two alternatives to form government – NC-UML and UML-Maoist,” Rai added.
These five parties have a combined 156 seats in the parliament. Parties need 138 seats to form government.
