KATHMANDU: India’s Chief Justice Dr D Y Chandrachud arrived in Kathmandu on Friday on a three-day visit on the invitation of Chief Justice Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha.
Chandrachud arrived in Kathmandu on Friday afternoon, leading a delegation from the Supreme Court of India. The delegation includes Registrar Rakesh Kumar, Court Master Chetan Mishra and Chandrachud’s spouse Kalpana Das.
The Indian Chief Justice is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at a program being organized in Kathmandu by the Central Child Justice Committee on Saturday. The two Chief Justices will then hold formal talks.
Later in the evening, Chief Justice Shrestha will host a reception in honor of the Indian delegation.
