KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been sworn in as the Prime Minister.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to Dahal amid a ceremony at the Office of the President on Monday.
This is Dahal’s third stint as the Prime Minister. He previously served as the prime minister after the 2008 Constituent Assembly election and in August, 2016.
The President also administered the oath of office to three new Deputy Prime Ministers Bishnu Poudel, Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Rabi Lamichhane.
On the occasion, President Bhandari also administered the oath of office and secrecy to new ministers Damodar Bhandari, Abdul Khan, Raj Kumar Rai and Jwala Kumari Shah.
