Dahal at Oli’s residence to form new coalition

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has reached the residence of CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli’s residence in Balkot to work out a new coalition to form the next government.

Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden and Janta Samajbadi Party leader Ashok Rai are also at Oli’s residence.

Earlier, Oli held separate meetings with these leaders of fringe parties.

UML has 78 seats in the parliament, while Maoist Center has 32. If RSP and RPP, which have 20 and 14 seats respectively, joint hands, the four-party alliance will have 144 seats in the parliament.
