KATHMANDU: Twenty-four Nepali Army (NA) personnel were injured when a bus met with an accident at Setibagar in Bhojpur-4 of Bhojpur district on Wednesday.
According to the District Police Office, Bhojpur, the bus, with registration Na. 4. Kha 7317, was carrying NA personnel deployed to Temke Maiyung Rural Municipality for House of Representatives elections scheduled for March 5.
The army unit was deployed by the Shreenath Battalion based in the district headquarters.
Police say eight NA personnel have been airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment.
