KATHMANDU: Nepal will host Bangladesh in two international friendly matches at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu on September 6 and 9.
The friendlies will serve as crucial preparations for Nepal ahead of its remaining matches in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers, the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) said in a statement on Monday.
Nepal has been drawn into Group F alongside Malaysia, Laos and Vietnam in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers. Nepal has played two matches in the qualifiers so far. It lost the first match against Malaysia 2-0, while it conceded a 1-2 defeat in its second match against Laos.
Nepal will next face Vietnam in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers on October 9.
