IG Kunwar off to Greece

KATHMANDU: Inspector General of Nepal Police, Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, left for Greece on Monday to attend the 38th International Drug Enforcement Conference in Athens.

According to the Nepal Police, the conference, which is being organized by the US Drug Enforcement Administration, will be held on September 24 to 26.

Senior Superintendent Dinesh Kumar Acharya is accompanying IG Kunwar to Greece.

High-ranking police officials saw off IG Kunwar at Tribhuvan International Airport.

Additional Inspector General Tek Prasad Rai will oversee the daily administrative duties at Nepal Police Headquarters in IG Kunwar’s absence.
