KATHMANDU: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal Anjani Kumar Pokharel has been recommended for promotion to the rank of Additional Inspector General (AIG).
A meeting of the Promotion Committee took the decision on Tuesday.
DIG Pokharel is currently serving as the Bagmati Province Chief of the APF Nepal.
A post of AIG had become vacant following the appointment of AIG Narayan Dutta Poudel as the Inspector General of APF Nepal.
