KATHMANDU: Brigadier General Gaurab Kumar KC has assumed the responsibility of the Spokesperson for the Nepal Army.
Outgoing Spokesperson Brigadier General Krishna Prasad Bhandari formally handed over the responsibility to Brigadier General KC amid a ceremony organized at the Directorate of Public Relations and Information, according to a press statement issued by the Nepal Army.
On the occasion, Brigadier General Bhandari thanked media personnel for their cooperation during his stint as the Spokesperson. Likewise, the new Spokesperson Brigadier General KC hoped that the relationship between the army and the media fraternity would be more cordial in the coming days.
Brigadier General Bhandari has been transferred to the Military Archives.
The new Spokesperson, KC, was previously serving as the Chief of No. 3 Brigade of the Nepal Army in Pokhara.
