NC central committee approves proposals to be presented in Mahsamiti meeting Nepali Congress Central Party Office

KATHMANDU: The central working committee of the Nepali Congress (NC) has approved different documents to be presented at the Mahasamiti meeting to be held on February 19-22 in Lalitpur.

According to the NC Central Party Office, the central working committee approved the policy proposal presented by Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, the organizational proposal presented by General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa, the political proposal presented by General Secretary Bishwo Prakash Sharma, the report on the economic situation and future direction presented by Spokesperson Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, and the Audit Report prepared by Accounts Committee Coordinator Shyam Kumar Ghimire.

The meeting also decided to allow the presidents of provincial working committees and district working committees, as well as the presidents of the party’s sister organizations and well-wisher organizations, to participate in the Mahasamiti meeting as invited members.

According to the Chief Secretary of the NC Central Party Office, Krishna Prasad Poudel, the meeting also decided to form a three-member committee chaired by Deputy General Secretary Bishma Raj Angdembe to hold elections for the working committee of NC’s parliamentary party in the federal parliament. Central committee members Pushpa Bhusal and Prakash Rasaili are the other members of the election committee.
