President Paudel postpones Europe visit

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel’s planned Europe visit has been canceled.

According to the Office of the President, President Poudel decided to cancel the visit due to the huge loss of life and property in the Jajarkot earthquake.

Poudel was scheduled to attend the Paris Peace Forum to be held in the French capital on November 10 and 11. He was scheduled to leave for Europe on November 8.
