PM Karki appointing four new ministers today

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki is inducting four new ministers into her cabinet.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Prime Minister Karki has already forwarded the names to the Office of the President. The new ministers are scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy on Friday itself.

Shraddha Shrestha will be appointed as the Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Kumar Ingnam as the Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation; Rajendra Singh Bhandari as the Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security; and Madhav Chaulagain as the Minister for Forests and Environment.

With this, the size of Karki’s cabinet will increase to 14.
