Saud meets Jaishankar in New Delhi

KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud met with his Indian counterpart S Jaishnkar in New Delhi on Friday.

The two discussed different aspects of bilateral relations. “Our conversation reaffirmed the positive trajectory of our ties,” Jaishankar said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) after the meeting.

Saud reached New Delhi two days ago to participate in the 2024 Raisina Dialogue – a multilateral conference held annually. He participated in a panel discussion on ‘Development Deficit: Towards a Post 2030 Agenda’ on Friday.

Hosted jointly by India’s Ministry of External Affairs and Observer Research Foundation, an independent think tank, Raisina Dialogue has emerged as India’s flagship conference on geopolitics in recent years.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mistsotakis is the chief guest of the 2024 Raisina Dialogue. The theme for this year’s conference is Chaturanga: Conflict, Contest, Cooperate and Create.
