Jaishankar pays courtesy calls on Prez, PM

KATHMANDU: Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar paid separate courtesy calls on President Ram Chandra Poudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Thursday.

Jaishankar arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday morning leading an Indian delegation to attend the 7th Meeting of the Nepal-India Joint Commission.

Right after landing in Kathmandu, he went to the Office of the President to meet President Poudel. He then proceeded to the Prime Minister’s Official residence in Baluwatar to meet Prime Minister Dahal.

After the courtesy calls, Jaishankar met Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud and co-chaired the Joint Commission meeting.
