KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the government would soon introduce crucial laws to facilitate the adjustment of government employees in province governments.
Inaugurating Anbhukhaireni Hospital in Anbukhaireni Rural Municipality of Tanahun on Friday, Dahal said that the Police Adjustment Act, Civil Servant Act, and Federal Education Act will be presented in parliament soon. “Police Adjustment Act has already been prepared. I am in regular interaction with Nepal Police, Ministry of Home Affairs to discuss implementation aspect of the Act,” Dahal added.
The Prime Minister’s statement comes amid pressure from province governments for the adjustment of government employees. The Madhesh Province Government has given a month-long ultimatum to the federal government for the adjustment of the police force. “The Federal Civil Service Act has been finalized and will be tabled in parliament soon. Likewise, the Federal Education Act is currently under deliberation,” he added.
