KATHMANDU: Vice President Ramsahaya Prasad Yadav has pledged to contribute the equivalent of his one month’s salary to rehabilitate earthquake survivors in Jajarkot and Rukum West districts.
Additionally, personnel within the Vice President’s Secretariat, including experts and advisors, have committed to donate their half month’s salary to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund. Likewise, chief personal secretaries, assistant personal secretaries, and employees holding equivalent positions will contribute sums equivalent to their seven days’ salary.
Further down the hierarchy, personal undersecretaries and officers or employees with similar positions will contribute amounts equivalent to their five days’ salary. Gazetted officers or employees with comparable positions will extend support by donating amounts equal to three days’ salary.
