UML’s focus on Mission 2027: Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that his party is putting all its focus on ‘Mission 2027’.

“Our party is on a mission to become the largest party in the country in the 2027 General Election,” Oli told the media upon his arrival at Biratnagar Airport on Wednesday. He also criticized the ruling coalition, stating that it was doing nothing but attempting to prolong its stay in the government.

Furthermore, Oli said that the Nepali Congress (NC) has failed to propel the nation’s development forward despite being the largest force in the parliament.

Oli also said that individuals in the government facing corruption allegations must step down to facilitate independent investigations.

The former prime minister also stressed that the UML was in favor of the early endorsement of crucial laws related to transitional justice.
