Two DIGs promoted to the rank of AIG

KATHMANDU: Two Deputy Inspector Generals of Nepal Police have been promoted to the rank of Additional Inspector General (AIG).

A cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to promote DIGs Umesh Raj Joshi and Bhim Prasad Dhakal to AIG, according to Government Spokesperson and Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma.

Joshi is currently deployed at the Nepal Police Training Academy, Maharajgunj, while Dhakal is with the Secretariat of the Inspector General.
