Two dead in tipper accident in Palpa

POKHARA: Two people died in a road accident in Mathagadhi Rural Municipality of Palpa on Monday.

According to District Police Office, Palpa, two people died on the spot when a tipper coming to a stone quarry in Dhami of Palpa from Khaireni of Rupandehi met with an accident at Arthokghat along Rahabas-Khireni road at around 9 am on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as driver Pradip Kumal (24) and his assistant Manish Pariyar (18) of Tilottama Municipality-16 of Rupandehi.

This is second fatal road accident in Palpa in less than a week. Ten people died when  passenger jeep met with an accident in Palpa last Tuesday.
