RPP organizes demonstration in Kathmandu [In Pictures]

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) organized a demonstration in Kathmandu on Wednesday, demanding the government’s attention towards its 40-point demands including the reinstatement of monarchy and Hindu state.

RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden, senior leader Pashupati Shusmher JBR  and Vice Chairman Rabindra Mishra, among other leaders, of the party participated in the demonstration.

RPP has been advocating for the scrapping of the provincial structure in favor of a two-tier government with strong government at the center and empowered local units at the lower level. Controlling corruption, ensuring good governance, promoting nationalism, and ensuring effective service delivery are among the demands raised by the party.
