President summons winter session of parliament

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Poudel has summoned the winter session of the federal parliament on February 5.

Issuing a statement on Wednesday, the Office of the President said President Poudel has called the meeting of both houses of parliament at 4 am on February 5 on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers as per Article 93 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal, 2015.

The cabinet on Tuesday had recommended the President to call the winter session of the federal parliament on February 5.
