KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has formally informed the House of Representatives about his upcoming visits to the United States and China.
Addressing the meeting of the House of Representatives on Friday, Dahal said that he was leaving for the US on Saturday to participate in the 78th United Nations General Assembly. “I will be leading a small delegation to the UN General Assembly. I will brief the General Assembly about our political achievements,” Dahal added.
Dahal also informed the House that he will embark on a trip to China from the US on September 22. Dahal will directly fly to Guangzhou from New York.
“While in China, I will engage in discussions with President Xi Jinping. I believe the discussion will further bolster the bilateral relationship between our two nations,” Dahal emphasized.
Furthermore, Dahal said that he would request the Chinese leaders to reopen all border points that had been closed due to COVID-19.
