NIFF invests in Classic View Resort

KATHMANDU: Nepal Infrastructure Investment Fund (NIIF), a permanent capital vehicle jointly promoted by Global Equity Fund (GEF), Himalayan Life Insurance, and Himalayan Everest Insurance has made investments in Classic View Resort.

The fund is managed by GEF.

Classic View Resort is a luxury boutique establishment situated in the hills of Budhanilkantha and boasting a breathtaking view of the Nagarujung-Shivapuri National Park. The resort, which is in the final leg of construction, is scheduled to come into operation in June.

“This upscale resort aims to cater to a discerning niche of tourists, offering an unparalleled eco-friendly boutique hotel experience amidst the scenic splendor of the Shivapuri forest,” according to a statement issued by NIFF.

Through this investment, NIIF seeks to support the tourism industry of Nepal by establishing a premier luxury retreat destination. “This partnership exemplifies our commitment to fostering sustainable tourism development in Nepal. With its unparalleled location and commitment to eco-friendly luxury, Classic View Resort is poised to become a premier destination for discerning travelers,” Manish Thapa, the managing director of the GEF, said.
