
KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives has passed the government’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year 2025/26.
The policies and programs was passed by a majority vote in the meeting of the lower house on Friday.
Earlier, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli responded to questions on the policies and programs raised by different lawmakers. He claimed that the government’s policies and programs is practical and result-oriented.
Following Oli’s response, Speaker Devraj Ghimire presented the proposed amendments for a decision. The amendments submitted on the policy and program were rejected by a majority vote.
Subsequently, Speaker Ghimire presented the policies and programs for a final decision.
President Ramchandra Paudel had presented the policy and program during a joint meeting of the federal parliament on May 2.
