KATHMANDU: Visiting United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres met with Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar on Sunday.
Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal received Guterres at the foreign ministry and escorted him to the foreign minister’s chamber.
Guterres arrived in Kathmandu for a four-day visit late Saturday evening. He is scheduled to meet President Ram Chandra Poudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, among other leaders, on Sunday.
UN Resident Coordinator in Nepal Hanna Singer-Hamdy accompanied Guterres in the meeting.
