Four dead in Sindhuli road mishap identified

SINDHULI: The police have identified all four individuals who died in a car accident in Sindhuli district on Tuesday night.

According to the District Police Office, Sindhuli, all of the deceased are from Barisnagar in the Indian state of Bihar. Of the five passengers in the car, three – Rakesh Kumar Singh (42), Manu Singh (36), and Gabar Singh (32) – died on the spot, while Abhishek Thakur (32) succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Sindhuli Hospital. Dharmendra Kumar Soni (47), who was also injured in the accident, is receiving treatment at Dhlikhel Hospital in Kavre.

The car, which had the registration number BR 06 DD 687, met with an accident near Sindhulimadhi on BP Highway at midnight on Tuesday. It was heading to Kathmandu. According to the police, the car fell 500 meters off the road.
