Five dead in Sindhuli bus accident

KATHMANDU: Five people died and 19 others were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident at Kuibhir in Fikkal Rural Municipality-4 of Sindhuli on Sunday morning. The bus was coming to Kathmandu from Okhaldhunga.

SP Raj Kumar Silwal of the District Police Office, Sindhuli, said the injured have been sent to Khurkot Hospital for treatment.

Eyewitnesses suggest that brake failure may have caused the accident, while police have reported that the bus was traveling at a high speed.
