Four dead in Doti jeep accident

KATHMANDU: Four persons died, and five others were injured in a jeep accident in Doti district on Sunday morning.

According to the District Police Office, Doti, the jeep heading to Bajura from Dhangadhi lost control and fell 60 meters down the road at Anyaul on the KI Singh Highway in Shikhar Municipality-6 of Doti

The deceased have been identified as Radhika Malla (22) and her eight-month-old daughter Prarthana, Dhanshobha Budha (32), and Kabindra Budha (6) of Himali Rural Municipality of Bajura.

The injured are receiving treatment at Shaileshwari Hospital in Dipayal.

The police have taken driver Mahesh Budha into custody for investigation, according to the news agency RSS.
