Five dead, three injured in Achham tractor accident

KATHMANDU: Five persons died in a tractor accident in Suyadi near Nandegada in Mellekh Rural Municipality of Achham on Sunday.

Three others were injured.

The tractor, traveling to district headquarters Sanfebagar from Shodasha, met with an accident at Suyadi, news agency RSS said, quoting Police Inspector Arjun Saud, the spokesperson for the District Police Office, Achham.

The deceased have been identified as Lala Bahadur Dhami (42), Hans Dhami (40), and Devendra Dhami (15), according to Saud.

The injured are receiving treatment at Bayalpata Hospital, according to the police.
