Dahal named parliamentary party leader of Maoist Center

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) has decided to make nominate Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal as its parliamentary party leader.

A meeting of the party’s office-bearers held at the party headquarters on Thursday took the decision to this extent.

The meeting decided to appoint Hitraj Pandey as the party’s Chief Whip in the House of Representatives and Narayan Kaji Shrestha as the party’s parliamentary party leader in the National Assembly.

Maoist Center has also decided to collect Rs 12,000 per month as a levy from its lawmakers.
