Abdul Khan to represent Janamat Party in govt

KATHMANDU: CK Raut-led Janamat Party has been given the industry, commerce and supplies portfolio in CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s government.

A meeting of the seven-party alliance held at the parliament building in New Baneshwar on Monday took the decision to this extent.

Janamat Party has decided to send its Vice Chairman Abdul Khan to the government.

“Abdul Khan will represent our party in the government. The party has already taken a decision to this extent,” said Raut.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari is scheduled to administer the oath and office of secrecy to Dahal at 4 pm on Monday.
