Pokharel warns of legal action in TU exam paper leak case Sashmit Pokharel

KATHMANDU: Minister for Education and Sports, Sasmit Pokharel, has said that those responsible for leaking the question paper of the first-semester MBS examination under the Tribhuvan University’s Faculty of Management will face legal action.

Speaking to journalists at the ministry on Sunday, Pokharel said the two individuals involved in the incident have already been arrested.

“Although similar incidents had occurred in the past as well, we took prompt action this time,” he said, adding that anyone involved in activities against good governance will be dealt with as per the law.

Pokhare also said that the government will make public the full facts of the case after a detailed investigation.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has detained two individuals on charges of leaking the question paper. The CIB is conducting further investigation into the case.

The question paper for the “Organizational Behavior” exam of the first semester of the MBS program, held on Friday, was leaked on social media as soon as the exam started.
