ITAHARI: Nayan Media Foundation is organising the Koshi Excellence Award 2026 in Itahari on Saturday.
According to Pawan Adhikari, chairperson of the foundation, about 80% of the program’s work has already been completed.
Industrialist Pawan Sharda chairs the award’s jury, while former Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari is the event’s chief adviser.
Adhikari said everyone registering for the event will receive a ‘Soaltee Heritage Club’ membership card from the event’s hospitality partner, Soaltee Westend Itahari.
Madhav Subedi, executive director of the foundation, said the partnership with Soaltee Westend Itahari will help make the award ceremony more effective and memorable.
According to the organisers, exemplary individuals and institutions making significant contributions to society will be honored in 16 different categories. These include agriculture and farming innovation, banking and financial services, corporate business leadership, education and academic excellence, health and medical care, literature, arts and writing, media and journalism, social work, sports, startup innovation, technology, tourism and hospitality, automobiles, music, and the capital market.
