KATHMANDU: Jerry on Top has collected Rs 65.16 million at the box office so far as of Saturday evening, data released by the Nepal Film Development Board (NFDB) shows.
The film, which stars Anmol KC, is running successfully in different theaters. It also features Bhuwan KC, Kedar Ghimire, Anchal Sharma, Jasita Gurung and Usha Khadgi, among others.
The film is about the attempts of a young man to fulfill his business tycoon father’s dream of climbing Mt Everest.
Meanwhile, three Nepali movies—Balidan, Haribahadurko Jutta, and Maitighar—which were released simultaneously on September 29 ahead of the Dashain festival, did satisfactory business, according to the NFDB.
These films are still running in a few theaters.
Of the three movies, Balidan grossed the highest collection of Rs 50.73 million as of Saturday midnight.
Haribahadurko Jutta ranked second with a collection of Rs 47.04 million, while Maitighar was next, grossing Rs 41.22 million.
