KATHMANDU: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has named a seven-member squad with Sharad Vesawkar as Captain for the Hong Kong Sixes 2025.
Issuing a statement on Sunday, CAN said Vesawkar will don the red and blue one last time at the HK Sixes. “It’s more than a goodbye but a celebration of an era that shaped Nepali cricket,” it added.
Sundeep Jora, Lokesh Bam, Basir Ahamad, Adil Alam, Rashid Khan and Rupesh Singh are the other members of the team.
Hong Kong will host the Hong Kong Sixes from November 7 to 9.
A total of 12 teams are participating in the tournament. Nepal is in Group A along with South Africa and Afghanistan. Nepal will play against Afghanistan on November 7 and against South Africa on November 8.
The top two teams from the group stage will advance to the quarter-finals.
