KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Central Committee member Ain Mahar has appeared before police after a court issued an arrest warrant for him in a cybercrime case.
According to SP Dipak Raj Awasthi, the spokesperson for the Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police, Mahar presented himself to the police on Wednesday. “We had received a complaint against him via a post. After an arrest warrant was issued for him, he appeared voluntarily,” Awasthi said.
Mahar was presented before the court on Wednesday for remand.
