One dead, three injured in motorcycle accident in Sunsari

ITAHARI: One person died and three others were injured in a motorcycle accident in Sunsari district early Sunday morning.

According to police, the accident occurred at around 3:30 am on Saturday at Dumraha in Ramdhuni Municipality–8.

The motorcycle, which was carrying four persons, was coming from Inaruwa to Dumraha. Police say the accident occurred after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The deceased has been identified as Anand Singh Khawas (21). He died while undergoing treatment at a local hospital. His body has been sent to Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar for postmortem examination.

Mukesh Sah (22), Dipnarayan Chaudhary (20) and Abhishek Singh (28) were injured in the incident. All three are receiving treatment at Birat Medical College.
