KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming T20I tri-series against Scotland and the Netherlands.
Nepal will play each opponent twice in the series. According to the series schedule, Nepal will face the Netherlands on June 16 and 18, and Scotland on June 17 and 20.
Lokesh Bam, Kiran Thagunna, and Rupesh Singh have been included in the squad, while Sompal Kami and Gulsan Jha have been left out due to injuries. This is Kiran Thagunna’s first call-up to the national team. Although Rupesh Singh was named in the squad for the T20 series in Hong Kong, he did not make the final playing XI.
Nepal recently concluded the ICC World Cricket League 2 tri-series against Scotland and the Netherlands with three wins and one loss.
