KATHMANDU: A wild elephant has been found dead in Kanchanpur district.
According to the Division Forest Office, Kanchanpur, the wild tusker was found dead near the Jai settlement in Laljhadi Rural Municipality-4 on Wednesday morning.
Locals informed the police and forest office after they found the lifeless body of an old elephant.
Four days ago, a male elephant, about 30 years old, was found dead in a farmland near the Khailar settlement in Thakurbaba Municipality-4.
