KATHMANDU: Popular Indian singer Sonu Nigam arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday to perform in a concert.
Officials of Nepali Touch, the organizers of ‘Sonu Nigam Live in Nepal’ concert, welcomed singer Nigam at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
The event is being held on the occasion of Christmas Day at the Hyatt Grounds in Chuchhepati. Tickets for the event range from Rs 5,000 to as high as Rs 100,000 which includes a table for six people with complimentary food and beverages.
Nigam is known for his Bollywood hits like ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’, ‘Suraj Hua Maddham’ as well as the recent hit ‘Ami Jo Tomar’ from Bhool Bhoolaiya 3. He has also sung Nepali songs like ‘Ukali Orali Gadai’, ‘Yo Jindgaile’ and ‘Ma Bhaye Pagal’ etc.
The organizers, Nepali Touch, is a Sydney-based event management company.
