KATHMANDU: Deputy Commander of the US Indo-Pacific Command, Joshua M Rudd, arrived in Kathmandu on Friday.
According to the US Embassy in Kathmandu, the three-star general will be the guest speaker for the 249th US Marine Corps Ball celebration in Kathmandu this weekend.
A special aircraft carrying Rudd and other members of his delegation landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu at 12:30 pm.
Lt General Rudd is scheduled to meet senior government and army officials during the visit.
