Gurung has donated 10 ropani 14 ana of land in Kirtipur Municipality-2, Maitrinagar, for the construction of UML’s central party office. Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli laid the foundation stone for the building on October 11.

Oli has faced sharp criticism for accepting land from a businessperson implicated in Lalita Niwas land scam.
