KATHMANDU: The Nepal America Film Society (NIFS) has finalized the list of films to be screened at the 2024 NAIFF – Nepal America International Film Festival to be organized in Maryland, USA, later this month.
The four-day event is being organized at the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center and Greenbelt Cinema on June 20-23.
A total of 35 feature films, documentary films, short films and animation films from 11 countries including Nepal, the US, Iran, Germany and Pakistan, will be screened during the festival.
The festival will open with the screening of Nabin Subba’s directorial ‘Gaun Aayeko Bato’ (A road to a village), while Fidel Devkota’s ‘The Red Suitcase’ will be screened at the concluding ceremony, according to the organizers.
The festival will also feature a panel discussion on ‘Films, Culture and Women’ as well as a master class in filmmaking.
