KATHMANDU: The government has promoted three joint secretaries from the Nepal Judicial Service to the position of Secretary.

The cabinet meeting held on Thursday promoted joint secretaries Khemraj Gnawali, Yam Bahadur Budha Magar, and Bhadrakali Pokharel to the position of Secretary. They have been appointed as the Deputy Attorney General, Secretary of the Judicial Council, and Registrar of the Supreme Court, respectively.

Similarly, the meeting also approved the Europe visit of President Ram Chandra Paudel.

President Paudel is leading the Nepali delegation to the 112th session of the International Labor Conference to be held in Geneva, Switzerland, on May 31. He is also scheduled to visit Germany after the conference.

The cabinet also approved the Forest (Second Amendment) Rules, 2081 and decided to present the Bill related to the Tilganga Eye University to the Federal Parliament.
