LALITPUR: West Wing Secondary School celebrated its 23rd Annual Day/Parent’s Day during a special function held on the school premises in Lalitpur recently.
Rameshor Shrestha, a member of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly and former Health Minister of the Province, graced the program as the Chief Guest, as stated by the school. During his address, Shrestha expressed happiness over the school’s significant achievements in effective management and outstanding results in academic activities. Emphasizing the importance of creativity and innovation, he suggested that students cultivate creative thinking habits. Shrestha also advised students to focus on time management, develop active learning habits, maintain a healthy lifestyle, practice effective note-taking, engage in consistent study, leverage technology, set goals, and regularly review them to achieve success in all aspects of the academic sector.
During the event, the school awarded prizes to students in various themes and categories based on their academic excellence. Teachers were also recognized and awarded for their excellent performance on the occasion.
According to the school, the event provided a platform for students to showcase their creative talents, including dances, songs, comedy performances, and drama, in the presence of their parents.
Established in 2000, West Wing Secondary School has been providing quality education to over 1,060 students from Play Group to Grade 12 for the past 23 years, according to Principal Baburaj Maharjan.
