KMC appointing headmasters in 71 schools on a five-year contract

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is begun the process of appointing headmasters for various community schools under its jurisdiction on a contract basis.

Publishing a notice on Friday, KMC has invited qualified candidates to submit their applications for the available positions.

KMC is looking to hire headmasters for six primary schools (Grade 1-5), 21 basic schools (Grade 1-8), and 44 secondary schools (Grade 9-12). To be eligible for these positions, candidates should have completed a minimum of five years of permanent service at the level they are applying for.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to prepare a proposal for school development and make a presentation of the proposal before the members of the selection committee.

The selected headmasters will be appointed on a five-year contract basis.
