According to a UML leader, the meeting was held at CPN-UML headquarters in Chyasal, Lalitpur. “The two discussed implementation of MCC projects in Nepal as well as other issues of the Nepal-US relations,” he added.
The MCC Nepal Compact formally entered into force on August 30.
Nepal is executing two projects under the MCC: the upgrading of an 80-kilometer section of the East-West Highway and the construction of a 315-kilometer 400 kV transmission line along with its three substations.
