SURKHET: Mohan Baduwal, the district chairman, and several other leaders of CPN (Unified Socialist) in Surkhet have rejoined CPN-UML.
UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel welcomed Baduwal and the other returning leaders back to the party at a program organized in district headquarters in Birendranagar on Thursday.
Baduwal previously held the position of Secretary in the Surkhet District Committee of UML. He and a few other leaders of UML left the party to join the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led Unified Socialist.
