12 SPs of APF recommended for promotion to SSPs [With names]

KATHMANDU: Twelve Superintendents of Police (SPs) of the Armed Police Force have been recommended for promotion to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSPs).

The Promotion Committee formed by the Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended SPs Rajesh Upreti, Gangaram Shrestha, Rabin Raj Karanjit, Bharat Khaniya, Netra Bahadur Karki, Ramesh Kumar Pandey, Bikash Ghimire, Tirtha Raj Poudel, Jahar Singh Budha Magar, Narendra Bam, Surya Bahadur Sen Oli and Tej Prasad Pokharel for promotion to SSPs as per Rule 39 (1) (B) of the Armed Police Force Regulations, 2015.

Nineteen SPs were in competition for the promotion. APF has 38 posts of SSPs.

According to a notice published by the committee, SPs dissatisfied with the recommendations can register a complaint at the hearing committee within seven days as per Rule 55 of the regulations.
